Join the PTO Board

Do you want to make a difference at our school? Help shape events, support teachers, and build a stronger community? The PTO Board is looking for enthusiastic parents and guardians to join us for the upcoming school year!

Voting will be on April 21st

> Connect with other families and staff
> Help plan fun events and fundraisers
> Support programs that directly benefit our students

Whether you have a few hours a month or a lot of energy to give, there’s a role for you! No prior experience is needed - just a willingness to help and a positive attitude.

Fundraising

Plan and execute fundraising initiatives. The goal is to engage and maintain local community contacts and set up possible fundraisers with CW businesses. For example: past events like Blue Jackets tickets, O'Charley's, and Square Fundraisers. Shall also promote, organize and maintain the Classroom Support Campaign. Keep track of donations, teacher volunteer points, distributing teacher funds, and work with social media on promotion.

Secretary

Record minutes of all meetings of the CWES PTO and shall distribute these minutes to the Board in a timely manner. The Secretary shall keep a copy of all CWES PTO records, and work with other Board members to store these records at the agreed upon location. The Secretary will be responsible for receiving, distributing and writing correspondence (including the CWES PTO email) pertaining to the CWES PTO’s activities and maintaining a contact list of volunteers and members. In addition, the Secretary will keep an attendance log of all meetings. Coordination that duties are completed with another Board Member in case of absence at a meeting. 

Co-Event Coordinator

Plan, collaborate, and carry out PTO school events put forth by the Executive Board. Duties include setting up planning meetings, organizing volunteers, delegating responsibilities, solving event logistics, arranging a decorating plan, etc. Events include Trunk or Treat, Movie Night, Family Dance, BINGO Night, and Spring Fest.

Community Outreach & Appreciation

Plan and execute community engagement initiatives. The idea is to increase community engagement and PTO awareness. Shall also plan and organize staff appreciation week activities in May. Such as the school snack cart, coffee truck visit, morning breakfast, and decorations.
