This is a ticketed event. Purchase yours here!
In an effort to connect with students and families of the Canal Winchester Local School district, the PTO is hosting a socially distant and healthy event that will allow families to venture out into the community and celebrate fall together.
Who: This event is open to any student and their families of the Indian Trail, Winchester Trail, or Middle School.
Where: Canal Winchester Elementary School Parking Lots
What: The Fall Fest will be a “drive-through,” activity focused event that will allow families to celebrate fall. Pre-registration and payment ($10 a car) will be required for a time slot and open time slots will be publicized closer to the day of the event.
When: Saturday, October 31st with options of the following times:
If these fill up - 1:30p-2:00p
How: When a family or car load enters the event, they will remain in their cars and drive to six stations. The stations will last about 5 minutes each for a 30 minute experience. Each station will also have candy to pass out to attendees in “trick or treat” like fashion. Please bring your own candy bags! The stations include:
Station 1 - Marshmallow Toss
Cars circle up, everyone receives marshmallows and tries to throw it, from their window, into a pumpkin head in three rounds.
Station 2 - Car Karaoke
Cars park in a line, the song choice wheel is spun, everyone has 30 seconds to prep and 45 seconds to perform.
Station 3 - Popcorn Eating and watching Car Karaoke
Cars park in a line, facing the Car Karaoke group and receive popcorn!
Station 4 - Halloween Toss Game
Cars circle up, everyone receives an item related to their game to throw, from their windows. There will be four 30 second rounds, which will allow for cars to play two games and act as cheerleaders for two rounds.
Station 5 - Cookie Face Minute to Win It!
Cars park in a line. Each person (who wants to participate) in the car gets a cookie. Volunteers will explain the rules:
Cookies must be placed in the middle of your forehead and not touching your eyebrows.
You can tilt your head and move your face, but you cannot touch a cookie with your hands.
The cookie must remain in contact with your face, so you can’t try to toss it from your forehead and catch it in your mouth.
If a cookie falls before reaching your mouth, you must start over using the same cookie.
When a person is successful they should scream “I did it!” Participants should keep trying until they are successful.
Station 6 - Costume Contest Picture Station
Cars park in a line, spaced out. Participants are encouraged to come to the event in costume, with their cars decorated. For those cars that participate, this station will include the group coming to the front of the car for a group picture and promptly going back into their car. The individual pictures will be uploaded to Facebook. The PTO will run the “Costume Contest” for one week and the picture with the most likes AND comments will win a $25 Visa Gift Card.
